Seaweek 2005 Launch at Sea World, Gold Coast  
     

Senator Hon. Ian Minister Macdonald enters

Senator Hon. Ian Macdonald (Minister for Fisheries, Forestry and Conservation) launched Seaweek 2005 at Sea World on the Gold Coast on Sunday (6 March 05).

After his opening speech, the Minister experienced a Shark Encounter Dive in Shark Bay's Shark Lagoon.

The launch featured on the national news on all channels and showed hundreds of students and the principals of ten schools being "fed" to the sharks.
