ROCKY SHORE
On the rocky shore the animals and plants have to be able to tolerate the harsh conditions like the hot sun, wind and wave action.
Nearest to the land is the harshest area to live in, being exposed to the sun for the longest and having few tides reach this area.
Amongst the rocks and pools may offer some protection with more crevices to take shelter in and more tides covering this area.
