HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL
PLUG-INS FOR THIS SITE
To view certain things on the web you need to have your browser configured with particular plugins. For this site you need macromedia's shockwave plugin. Luckily this is a fairly simple process and once you have installed these plugins you will not have to do it again and you also will be able to view other sites on the web that use shockwave.
NETSCAPE USERS-DOWNLOAD THE SHOCKWAVE PLUGIN
Netscape Navigator users Click on the button. When you choose to download the shockwave plugins a small program will run and work out what operating system you are running and what versions of shockwave your browser needs. You may need to restart your browser program after installing the plugin.
FOR INTERNET EXPLORER 3.01 or higher USERS
If you are using a version higher than Internet Explorer 3.01 and Win95/NT then click here to download the Shockwave ActiveX Controls for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Be certain to choose the Shockwave ActiveX for Internet Explorer.
A page will then prompt you for your name etc. Enter these details and then choose Autoinstall, which as the name suggests, automatically configures your Internet Explorer browser with Shockwave plugins. Macromedia suggest it will take about 10 minutes to download using a 28.8K modem.
IF YOU'RE USING INTERNET EXPLORER 3.01 or less READ THIS!
**On June 30, 1997 Authenticode information in Microsoft Internet Explorer (versions 3.01 and earlier) expired. This prevents Internet Explorer from accurately verifying safe active content, such as Shockwave Flash and Director movies, on the web and prompts it to display the following message when such content is encountered:
This page contains active content that is not verifiably safe to display.
To protect your computer, this content will not be displayed.Authenticode 2.0 is available for download from Microsoft's website and when installed will update the relevant security information in Internet Explorer so that you may once again view pages with Shocked content.
To obtain Authenticode 2.0, or for further information, steer your browser to the following

This new information is also incorporated into the currently available Internet Explorer download, so it might be easier to upgrade your browser to higher than 3.01.

IF YOU'RE USING Win 3.11 YOU WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD
NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR
Remember you don't have to install the latest version but for these pages you will need at least Internet Explorer 3.02 and Netscape Navigator 3.
THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A LOT OF WORK BUT..............
if you persevere then not only will you be able to view the shochwaves at this site but you can also see all the shock waved sites on the web. You only need to go through this process once.
