What are your main work duties?

I am involved in field and laboratory work concerning benthic ecology and marine pests species.

What helped you to get your job?

On finishing University I contacted as many employers in marine and terrestrial ecology as I could, pretty much in every state in Australia. Luckily a short-term position came up at MAFRI which developed into my current position, two years later.

Career Tips

"Study well at University and make yourself known. Get experience any way you can. Be pro-active, don't wait for something to find you"
